Building a Digital Strategy and Revamping the LA Phil + Hollywood Bowl


OVERVIEW

LAPhil marketing team had not kept up to date with digital marketing over the years.

A seven year old website was connected to a new ticketing system and a true integration wasn’t in place.

The team’s email marketing and social media efforts had fallen behind the times and needed a revamp.

SOLUTION

Silver Lake Digital came in and conducted a full digital audit of the organization’s capabilities, infrastructure, and needs.

We put a new vendor ecosystem in place, selected an agency for developing a new website platform, implemented a new email marketing platform that maximized customer data and consumer preferences for personalization.

We restructured the team alongside the CMO and changed the team’s approach developing a more digital first mindset.

We built a social content strategy and created a focus on video content to power all social channels.

RESULTS

  • Mobile sales increased 600% overall and went from less than 1% of sales to 4.5%.

  • Donations increased over 500% by changing the user experience path.

  • Email open rates went up to over 20%, from 2%, after new templates, personalization, and a preference center was put in place.
